Thurston County Democrats' main goal is to get upstanding Democratic candidates elected to local office and that take money. We also want to educate and organize in the county to help citizens become knowledgeable about important local issues. That takes money too!
The nominal fee will help us safeguard campaign funds raised through the Burger Booth, Champagne Brunch, Kennedy Dinner, etc., so that those funds can be used more for campaigns and less to pay for the costs of running the organization.
Our membership year is February 1 to January 31, and we accept members throughout the year. New members may participate in discussion at the first regularly scheduled meeting after they join, but may not vote until their second meeting.
