This will be a hybrid meeting. Members, PCOs, candidates, elected officials, and community members are welcome to attend.

Timberland Regional Library Levy

Rob Richards will provide a brief update on the Timberland Regional Library levy, followed by questions from members.

No Hate WA State

A representative of the No Hate WA State campaign will provide an update on the statewide campaign and answer member questions.

Local Candidate Recruitment

Sara DeStasio will introduce a volunteer-led program focused on identifying and encouraging prospective candidates for local public office.

Strickland Campaign Update

Liz Rosenburg will provide a general-election update from Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland’s campaign, including current campaign activity and opportunities for coordination in Thurston County.

General-Election Briefing and Member Activation

With ballots beginning to arrive October 16, Campaign Services will brief members on TCD’s election work, upcoming field activities, volunteer needs, and communications priorities.

Candidates and campaign representatives will have an opportunity to identify their most important upcoming activity and volunteer need. Members will leave with clear opportunities to take action during the final weeks of the election.

Ad Hoc Bylaws Review Committee

The Chair will announce the establishment of an Ad Hoc Bylaws Review Committee to begin reviewing TCD’s governing documents in advance of the organizational reorganization meeting. Members interested in participating will be invited to join the effort.

Organizational Business

The Central Committee will also receive officer and committee reports, consider eligible PCO appointments, and address other properly presented organizational business.
