Thurston County Democrats
Membership begins with connection
The Membership & PCO Committee helps people move from first contact to meaningful participation, trusted responsibility, and local leadership.
We welcome people, equip organizers, strengthen precincts, and develop the people who sustain TCD.Two ways to serve
Committee service and PCO service are connected, but they are not the same commitment. Choose the path that matches how you want to contribute.
Welcome new people, follow up with sign-ups, coordinate training, maintain membership systems, recruit PCOs, and help volunteers find meaningful work.

Help people move from attending to contributing, owning projects, and leading responsibly.
Start with something real
You do not need years of political experience. Reliability, curiosity, patience, good judgment, and genuine care for people are valuable here.

A different kind of service
A Precinct Committee Officer organizes a defined neighborhood, connects with local voters, strengthens Democratic participation, and represents that precinct within TCD.
You may become a PCO without serving on this committee. You may also serve on the Membership & PCO Committee without becoming a PCO. Some people choose to do both.
