Voter's Pamphlet

Thurston County Voters' Pamphlets are prepared and mailed to each household prior to every Primary and General election. The pamphlet contains information on local ballot measures and local candidates. Additional information includes poll site voting locations, absentee ballot request forms, and voter registration information.
Register to Vote

You can register to vote by completing a Mail-In Voter Registration Form when:
- You have moved into Washington State.
- You have moved into a new county.
- You have changed your name.
- You are not registered and would like to be.
- You will be turning 18 years old.
To register to vote in the state of Washington, you must be:
- A United States Citizen.
- Eighteen years of age by election day (171/2 year olds may reregister.)
- A resident of Washington State.
- Not in prison or on parole for conviction of a felony.
In the state of Washington, you do not have to register by political party or declare political party membership to vote in the state's general election.
If you meet the above criteria you can register by completing and mailing in a voter registration form available below. You may also request that one be sent to you.

Absentee Ballot
To request an absentee ballot on-line for a specific election (i.e. special or primary or general) go to: www.co.thurston.wa.us/auditor/Elections/Forms/absentee.html.
