Affiliated organizations are do not necessarily have to be political in nature but could be organizations that hold similar values and ideals and with whom the Thurston County Democrats would likely work closely toward a common goal.
Thurston County Young Democrats
Having recently conducted a very successful forum for young voters in Thurston County, the Thurston County Young Democrats are now conducting a membership drive. As part of this effort, we would like to invite you to bring a young person to one of our upcoming events. This is a great chance to help someone you know get involved in politics.
Our next meeting will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, October 26 at Apollo’s Pizza. Apollo’s is located at 2010 Harrison Ave NW (Olympia’s West Side).
TCYD is also pleased to announce its next major event – “The Fool’s Guide to Democracy: A Night of Improv with a Political Bent”. The event will occur on Friday, November 4 at the Capital Playhouse. Tickets can be pre-purchased through the Capital Playhouse box office by calling: (360) 943-2744. Prices are $10 for general admission, $5 for students if tickets are pre-purchased. Tickets at the door will cost $15 for general admission and $7 for students.
