What a day, this was by far the most exciting day in politics I can remember (I am young so I missed the 60's). We started out with the role call vote. When it came time for New York to make it's vote, Hillary made a motion to suspend the rules and nominate Barack Obama by acclimation.....amazing! Once we were done with the cheering and hugging it was time to move through the speakers for the evening including Madeline Albright, President Clinton, John Kerry, Joe Biden, and surprise appearances by Melissa Etheridge, and Obama himself. Topics varied but there was a definate veterans/ foreign policy theme.
Sorry there are less pictures, my camera ran out of juice early in the program. More will come soon as I aquire them from others.
