With all of the county's water systems almost totally dependent on ground water for clean, fresh drinking water, issues related to water quality and available water supply cannot be ignored, said Sandra Romero, candidate for Thurston County Commissioner. "We have had growth and are still growing, and we don't even know how much potable water we will need or where we will get it from. This problem is like spending money out of your checking account but never knowing what the balance is.
